Artist - Graphic Designer - Writer

 

I'm a freelance Graphic Communications Specialist with experience doing design and advertisement for college programs at two separate institutions (Bluefield College and Bluefield State College) in addition to working for the NBC affiliated news station, WVVA, doing graphic content for their mobile apps and website and designing advertisements for their clients. I am well versed in Adobe Creative Cloud software, with my particular specialties being Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator.

 

Artistic abilities are my passion, and drawing is my primary skill, with writing coming a close second. I have experience transferring pencil art to lineart and digital art in Photoshop and I am skilled at digitally coloring artwork. I also enjoy drawing comics and doing character design, and I use a blend of traditional and digital mediums in my work.

 

Logo design is one of my strong points, and I am also a confident designer of posters and advertisements. In addition, I am a creative writer, with professional experience writing short stories and poems. I have also written for advertisements, and have worked for both a college newspaper and a professional news station conducting interviews and writing/editing news articles.
